The hard drive, network cables, and a computer mouse are practically included for free. Additionally, it becomes more cost-effective since no separate power supply needs to be organized for the cameras – one cable to the NVR is sufficient for each camera, allowing data and power (Power over Ethernet, PoE) to flow. The recorder can be placed in a server rack or simply next to the monitor from which it is operated. Now just call up the user interface (also accessible via PC/browser), and within a short time, the first live image from the cameras can be seen. Access is available both on-site and remotely via the internet: individual settings can be made at any time. Smart modes assist in quickly and efficiently searching for recordings and scenes. The strong data compression ensures efficient storage use. This allows for weeks or months of recording based on demand and configuration – for example, through manual triggering or intelligent motion detection (person/vehicle). The mini dome cameras are ideally suited for discreet ceiling-mounted surveillance due to their design. They provide crystal-clear images even in challenging backlight situations (outdoors in sunlight, generally in entrance areas). Night vision extends up to 30 meters. Users receive a push notification via the ABUS Link Station app when motion is detected. The Pro version of the app offers unlimited mobile access. With the free Lite version: up to 60 minutes of data streaming (live view/playback) per month.
