The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor is a small, discreet sensor that can be worn on the back of the upper arm for up to 14 days. It continuously measures the glucose concentration in the body's interstitial fluid around the clock. The sensor updates the glucose value minute by minute and stores it at intervals of 15 minutes over a period of up to eight hours. It is waterproof and can be worn while showering, swimming, or exercising.
Application: The small, discreet sensor is simply and painlessly applied to the back of the upper arm and can be worn for up to 14 days. By holding the reader to the sensor, users can retrieve the current glucose value, view data from the last 8 hours, and use the trend arrow to determine the direction of the glucose level.
