The selective main circuit breakers of the S750 series are certified according to DIN VDE 0641-21 as voltage-independent selective main line protection switches (SHU), designed for layman operation and suitable for the highest overvoltage category. Their application area is diverse: as a disconnection device at the metering point according to the TAB of the network operators or VDE-AR-N 4101, as well as in all low-voltage main distributions for the protection of distribution circuits and as a disconnection device with isolation function.
Noteworthy are the special selectivity features that ensure high system availability. The S750 series is designed for direct mounting on a 4- or 5-pole busbar system 40 mm (12 mm x 5/10 mm). Regardless of the rated current of the S750, it can be directly connected to the busbar system via the lower terminal with up to 50 mm² and a maximum of 100 A. Devices of the S750 family include an integrated locking option that allows simultaneous blocking of the 3 poles of a three-phase supply. The integrated locking slider locks in ON or OFF position and can additionally be secured with a padlock, wire seal, or cable tie.
