The S 400 series circuit breakers protect cables and lines from overload and short circuits in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-430 and DIN VDE 0100-530. They comply with the construction regulations DIN VDE 0641-11 or IEC/EN 60898-1, and DIN VDE 0660-101 or IEC/EN 60947-2. Their patented terminal block ensures easy and secure connection and handling via a pressure plate. Conductor cross-sections of up to 35 mm² can be directly connected to the device through the terminal block with insulation in protection class IP20. The connection is made directly via the plug-in socket system, and the external conductor connection can be freely chosen (L1, L2, or L3).
