Scotch® 22 vinyl electrical insulating tape is the market-leading original PVC insulating tape. This professional-grade insulating tape features an elastic backing material coated with a highly effective adhesive, which has increased layer thickness for enhanced mechanical strength. It is ideal for the primary electrical insulation of all wire and cable connections up to 600 V and provides lasting moisture-proof electrical and mechanical protection across a wide temperature range from -10°C to 80°C in accordance with VDE. Its excellent elasticity, flexibility, and resilience throughout the temperature range enable crease-free wrapping and offer superior protection against abrasion, copper corrosion, oil, solvents, and UV radiation. Scotch® 22 vinyl electrical insulation tape is flame retardant to UL 510 and certified to UL, CSA, and VDE.
