3M ET 60 PTFE foil

The 3M PTFE Insulation Tape 60 is an insulation tape with a PTFE film carrier. This flame-retardant tape is suitable for use in coils, wire harnesses, and capacitors under high temperatures where dielectric strength and break resistance are required. This tape is rated for 600 V and withstands a temperature range of 0 to 180 °C. The 3M PTFE Film 60 not only features extremely high temperature resistance but also offers excellent voltage resistance and remarkable elasticity. It can withstand a breakdown voltage of 9,500 volts and belongs to insulation class H with a temperature resistance of up to 180 °C. The tape is also flame-resistant according to UL 510, and the high-quality silicone adhesive is highly resistant to aging. Due to the very low-energy surface of the PTFE carrier, substances like resin, adhesive, or dirt do not adhere to it. The insulation tape has a thickness of 0.102 millimeters.
