The model is a replica of the NSU HK 101 "Kettenkrad." Initially, the Sd.Kfz 2 "Kettenkrad" was developed as a lightweight transport vehicle for airborne troops. It was a small vehicle that resembled the front of a motorcycle and was characterized by its handlebars and central wheel, as well as a rear equipped with a 6-wheel track structure. The Kettenkrad could carry two passengers in addition to the driver or transport goods and ammunition. Later, since 1944, it was used on airfields for handling jet fighters like the Messerschmitt Me 262 and jet bombers like the Arado A-234.
