The model is a replica of the Russian T-90MS. The M4 Sherman was named after a general of the Union Army during the American Civil War and was the largest tank produced in mass by the US Army during World War II. Shermans were reliable, maneuverable, and technologically advanced. The diesel version, the M4A2, was delivered to all Lend-Lease countries starting in 1943 and became the primary tank of foreign production for the Red Army. Its main armament was the 75-mm US gun M3 L/37.5. Soviet tankers referred to this tank as "Emcha" (the Russian transliteration of M4). During World War II, the Red Army received over 2000 tanks. The M4A2 (75) was also deployed in the Pacific campaign by the US Marine Corps.
