Product details
The General Dynamics EF-111 Raven was developed on the aerodynamic cell of the ground attack aircraft F-111 Aardvark. This supersonic aircraft, featuring variable geometry wings, was identified as a suitable platform to accommodate the electronic components necessary for effectively carrying out its newly assigned tasks. Thus, the EF-111 Raven became a reference point for electronic warfare operations and was deployed in numerous operational activities in Libya, Bosnia, and Iraq. Easily recognizable by the prominent bulge on the rear tail, it was equipped with state-of-the-art electronics for its time, including terrain mapping radar and the introduction of radar jamming and electronic countermeasure systems. The cockpit was also redesigned, incorporating a control suite specifically for the Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO).
