Product details

The production of Italian tanks during World War II focused on the "M" versions. The M-13/40 was the most famous and widely used tank of the Regio Esercito. Equipped with a 47-mm gun, it was characterized by its original structure of tracks and suspensions, as well as protection from the distinctive "bolting." On its chassis, the self-propelled gun M-40 was also developed. Armed with a 75-mm howitzer installed in a casemate, it was feared by enemy tanks. The best results were achieved when the M-13/40 was used in combination with self-propelled guns that could compensate for the tank's limited firepower. Throughout the war, both the tanks and the self-propelled guns were improved through technical solutions and armament enhancements.
