Product Name: 1:48 Sd.Kfz.385 Fuel Truck Bat. o. Brit.
The model is a replica of the Sd.Kfz.385 Fuel Truck Bat. o. Brit. The Opel Blitz was the main truck of the German armed forces during World War II. It was extensively used in large numbers on all fronts and is regarded as the "working mule" of the Wehrmacht. Due to its robust frame, stable system of rigid axles with leaf springs, and dual wheels at the rear, the Opel Blitz could carry a payload of over 3 tons. The 3600 cc engine was easy to maintain and delivered 75 hp. Particularly because of its great flexibility, it served as the development platform for several specialized models and versions, such as the Kfz. 385 "Fuel Truck," which was used as the main refueling vehicle for the Luftwaffe. The vehicle was equipped with a rear fuel tank, a pumping system, and a simplified cabin with a fabric roof. The exhaust system and muffler were repositioned to allow for safe refueling of aircraft.
