Description: 1:24 Fiat 131 Abarth '77 San Remo Rally Win

The Fiat 131 Abarth was built on the frame of the two-door Fiat sedan. The development made by Abarth included several modifications and improvements, starting with the reduction of body weight using lighter materials. New fenders were installed to allow for larger wheels, and new air intakes on the hood and sides were designed to optimize cooling for the mechanics. The engine was a 4-cylinder longitudinal engine characterized by the use of a light alloy head and 4 valves per cylinder.

The Fiat 131 Abarth was produced from 1976 and competed in the World Rally Championship, achieving significant results including three manufacturers' championships, one drivers' championship, and one FIA trophy. It participated in international competitions until 1982 when it was replaced by Lancia brand cars. One of its most famous victories was at the prestigious 1977 San Remo Rally, where the Fiat car achieved success with notable drivers such as J.C. Andruet and C. Delferrier.
