Digital TV receivers

Soon our digitenne subscription with kpn.com will expire because we are switching to solcon (subsidiary of kpn). Because digitenne cannot be included with solcon, and we would otherwise have to pay over Euro 16.00 per month separately, I am looking for a receiver with antenna/dish that we can use at the campsite (Netherlands, Hardenberg), against the edge of the woods, and which we use from early April to late October/early November. What other options can we use for this, although I already have a separate outdoor antenna with connection for coax cable. Very happy to receive options I'm sure.

Hello. I wanted to ask the community if there are any reasonable solutions in Switzerland. So about the "problem": I rarely watch TV (or rather not at all), except for Netflix. And what I watch has to be at least HD quality. I would like to watch Discovery, History and so on, actually what is available in the Teleclub Family package. Teleclub offers the Family package for 15 CHF, which is fine. Unfortunately only in combination with UPC, Sunrise or Swisscom. With Sunrise you get a total of at least 85 CHF (with 50 Mbit Internet). With Quickline 47.- per month with TV M (in addition to the Internet contract, 59.-, 100 Mbit). At Swisscom 85.- (Internet + TV S + Family), with 200 Mbit you get 100.-. You can forget Wilmaa, Zattoo and co. anyway. As I see it, there is no other way to stream these channels in HD? (apart from dubious IPTV providers that don't even run reasonably in SD). Hello Community I'm looking for answers here in the community, maybe someone can help. I live in Zug and the main cable provider is Quickline. Now I have downgraded the subscription and so the Quickline TV box no longer works for watching TV (a joke). Well, in the room with the TV it doesn't matter because I can just connect the TV with the coax cable and watch the TV programmes on the TV. But in the living room I have a beamer and now I need something with a TV tuner to watch the TV programmes. Can anyone recommend something, if possible under 100? The nvidia looks cool, but I think it's a bit too expensive. Actually, I'm mainly interested in the TV programmes, but if the device could also connect to my NAS, that would be great, of course, but it doesn't have to be. Greetings Patrick

I currently use a Sony Bluray player as a Netflix streamer. A 3D projector is used as the output device. Now I am looking for a TV tuner with which I can watch TV via the cable connection. I can't see my way through the whole jungle of satellite receivers. Who can recommend a device with which I can record and watch a programme at the same time? Time shift must also be possible. (Hard drive or external doesn't matter). I also need a slot for the card for the CH channels. Many thanks for the help 🙏

Hello, I would like to receive the channels via "Smart IPTV", i.e. an app on the Samsung Smart TV, and thus watch TV via the Internet in the future so that the classic TV connection no longer has to be paid for. I have an old TV with an integrated DVD player in my hobby room. I used it for years only with DVDs. Now I want to watch "normal" TV. Channel search does not find any channels. Now I need some kind of univversal signal converter? What kind? The magic box doesn't have to be able to do anything except convert. Thanks for any tips!

I have an HD TV that only has a dvb-s connection. I don't want to throw it away because it still works fine. Unfortunately, youtube and other apps are no longer available for the device. Now I want to buy a satellite receiver that runs apps like youtube, netflix and disney+. But the support should last longer than 2-3 years, I don't want to buy a new one so quickly. But I have no idea about the runtimes of the devices. Would be very happy for help. Ps with wifi on board would also be good.

Hello, I am a Zatoo customer. I like to use it in the office or on the train. I also have a TV in my hobby room that I occasionally use via Chromecast. Now we have a weekend cabin where I want to avoid a house connection with mobile internet, so I want to use Zatoo there too, but I want to use it with a remote control, so without having the mobile phone next to me all the time. Is an Android TV box a solution and which part do you recommend?

Hello together Since DVB-T is being switched off in Switzerland, I am looking for an alternative without a subscription. Is there a device with which I can receive the SRG channels via the internet (no Zattoo or Wilma) and/or with an app? What can you recommend?

About 8 months ago I made the suggestion that a 4K filter would be a pleasant thing. Unfortunately, Digitec doesn't seem to have listened. I think that's a real shame, because it would make the search a lot easier.

Hello together In the past I had TV subscriptions from Swisscom or UPC. Due to the infrequent use, I cancelled this and when I did, I watched Netflix or rarely Zattoo. However, now with the World Cup and the time delay with Zattoo, I thought about receiving the regional channels via antenna. However, I have no idea at all about this part. That's why I bought the OPTICUM OHD750 (DVB-T/T2 & DAB+ antenna) and only then realised that I still need a box between the antenna and the TV that also feeds the antenna with 5V. Now there are various devices and I am looking for an inexpensive product that makes my antenna purchase worthwhile again :) Thank you very much for your help.

Unfortunately, there is no 4K filter for the digital TV receivers, which would be super helpful in the search. Since this model is more likely to be considered for me in the future.

At the end of February, SFR will discontinue the analogue signal via satellite, so I need a digital satellite receiver. It doesn't have to have a lot of gimmicks and features (the TV is in a holiday home), but it must still be possible to receive the SRF channels and the configuration and menu navigation should be simple. 1. which receiver is recommended? 2. a Sat-Access card type PC 5.0 is already available.
