Hello everyone I am thinking of buying a small, inexpensive sewing machine. I don't want anything professional, just a small one to be able to re-sew or do small sewing jobs. However, it should be a good one. What should I look out for? What kind of machine can you recommend? Thank you very much

Hello, I recently bought a Pfaff sewing machine, but I can see that buying a serger would be a real plus for my projects. The internet is good but there is too much information 😂 so I don't know which brand to go for. I've just had advice to avoid the Singer brand. Which brand would be the most reliable and simple enough in the settings and explanations without making too much noise either? Thanks in advance

Hello dear sewing enthusiasts, I have an ancient bernina machine and would like to start sewing again. Not totally crazy and complicated projects. But at least, for example, to change existing clothes, embellish them, get creative. To be honest, my machine annoys me. It's too big, heavy and unwieldy. The thread keeps breaking. And threading it drives me crazy because it takes me ages, even with my glasses. I would like to do small projects with it. Appliqués on jeans or my transitional coat. Curtains, bed linen etc. What kind of model do you recommend? Thanks in advance Veronika

Hello Community I need some advice on the performance of a "normal" iron. I don't want to spend as much money as on an ironing station, but I still want an iron that can straighten my clothes relatively quickly. I clicked on "Compare top 4". Is a steam output of 100g / min enough or should I have at least 180g / min? I'm a bit stumped :)
