    Pimax Crystal Super

Pimax no longer delivers to Switzerland and I often read that Digitec now "officially" offers the headsets: When will the Pimax Crystal Super be available from you? Are you now a Pimax partner?

    Windows mixed reality

How is it possible that digitec allows virtual reality headsets such as lenovo or Hp reverb to be sold second-hand on its website when Windows no longer supports Windows mixed reality? "Windows Mixed Reality devices are not supported with Windows 11, version 24H2 and later." https://learn.microsoft.com/fr-fr...

Hi Digitec, will you soon be getting the Pimax Crystal Light with local dimming and controllers in stock? Also the DMAS accessory is essential.

    VR Bridge from D-Link "DWA-F18 "

I have already seen several "videos" about the VR Bridge from D-Link and I am very interested in it. The exact name according to D-Link is: VR Air Bridge DWA-F18 - D-Link. Unfortunately, this device is not available in Switzerland or in neighbouring Germany. This dongle is supposed to provide wireless VR pleasure in cooperation with Meta. VR Link without cables, so to speak. Do any of you know whether the device is already available?

Are there VR glasses for on the road, e.g. riding a train or going to a construction site?

Which VR glasses are for on the go and don't need a PC? Thanks

    HP Reverb G2 Rev. 2

Now that the new HP Reverb G2 Rev. 2 (or version 2) is also available in Europe, could you please label the products on offer accordingly (Rev. 1 or Rev. 2, with or without controller)? That would be very helpful! I am aware that it was not you but HP who caused the chaos here. Thank you very much! If anyone in the community knows how to distinguish between these two versions in any other way, I'd appreciate a tip. I assume it's the product currently marked NEW in the shop. But I didn't find any info about the controllers there.

    pico neo 4

Hello Digitec Today the pre-orders for the Pico Neo 4 were opened, the Pico headsets are a direct competition to the standalone Quest headsets. The Neo is Specwise better than the Quest on paper. Will you be adding this headset to your range?

    Add new VR glasses? (OSVR)

Could you also put the OSVR in the range? They are a lot cheaper than the Oculus and the OSVRs are sold as open source. They definitely have potential. :)

    Beginner questions about VR glasses

Good morning My junior approached me that he wants a pair of VR glasses (Meta Quest 2) for his birthday. With these glasses you can play VR games with an APP and a Facebook account. Now I have a bit of trouble that you need a Facebook account to do this. Are there comparable alternatives from other manufacturers that do not require a Facebook account? How is the quality of VR glasses in general? I would prefer a pair of glasses that I can use on my PC and that I can use with my STEAM game library. Unfortunately I haven't found any requirements. What would you need? I think a price range of +- 450 francs would be a reasonable budget for VR glasses. I am looking forward to your experiences and possible inputs or suggestions to find a smart and sensible solution for my junior. Many thanks for your efforts

    Cinema use

Which headphones can you recommend for use only with TV, Netflix, or movies? So my desire is to have a very good image quality, and, if possible, a connection to my phone or tablet.

Oculus Rift S does not work

Hello VR community, I have a problem with my Oculus Rift S. When I turn it on and open the headset I only see a blackscreen with a loading bar and the controllers are on the ground. I have already tried a lot e.g. I added the headset 5 months ago and then it worked for 2 weeks and then the blackscreen with the loading bar came up again I just don't know why it doesn't work....

    3D model in VR

Hello Together I am learning the profession of designer and often plan interiors for rooms or buildings. For my final presentation, I would like to bring the planning of the room closer to the expert or the customer and present this with VR glasses. Unfortunately, I am not sure which inexpensive VR glasses make this possible. Does anyone have any ideas?

Which VR glasses should I buy?

Hello, I am new to the VR world and need a good recommendation for VR glasses. I have done some research but the choice is so big that I hardly understand anything. VR glasses incl. controller would be great. I would pay 300Fr-1000Fr. Resolution would be important to me. My friends are talking about a Valve Index but it's kind of sold out or you can't buy it anymore. Then somehow a Pimax but I don't understand which one and whether you have to buy the controller. I hope someone can help me :,)

    VR for the Restricted

Hello everyone. I am looking for information on a solid VR experience for me and a friend. We are both in wheelchairs, he is a quadriplegic, can use his hands but cannot control his fingers. I have no limitations in hand functions. I am a paraplegic. Is there anything that can be controlled, for example, by head movements and or eye tracking? You can imagine that he can move his hands well, but they are limp. I am a complete noob in the world of virtual reality :-D. Am very grateful for any tips and if you have any questions please just throw them out there. Thanks in advance <3

Why no HTC Valve Index in the list of Digitec?

I don't understand why this headset is not available, not even on the list. It's the best VR set currently. Not even mentionned on digitec website?

    Cable extension for WMR headsets

After a long search for a solution to extend the cables from my Samsung Odyssey+, I came across the following solution which, as far as I have tested, works perfectly: Needed: - HDMI 2.0 cable, male-male (item no. 5672167*) - USB 3.0 cable, male-male (item no. 5741502*) - 12V 1.5A power supply with 3.5mm x 1.35mm 'barrel' connector, positive inner (item no. 5592019*) - HTC Vive Link Box (item no. 5920936) * can be exchanged for similar products with stated specifications. The HTC Vive Link is simply connected in between the HDMI and USB connection and supplied with power by the power supply unit. The Vive Link Box maintains the signal without any problems and I couldn't notice any noticeable difference, no dropouts and no noticeable delay. Unfortunately, the cable cannot be extended directly, but the anchor point can be moved to a better location, e.g. to the front edge of the desk or to the ceiling. This method should work with any Windows Mixed Reality headset, but I cannot guarantee it 100% as it is not officially supported. I hope I could help some of you with this!
