Up to now such a list is not available under the heading «Notebook».

Looking the problem the other way round; it should be quite easy and safe with respect to compatibility.

7 things one should keep in mind:
Docking stations deliver sufficent power to charge a notebook if they are compatible with.
Some « docking stations» are true port repeater instead, but they are listet under the heading « docking station»
Docking stations can be filtered according to their conneting port.
Docking stations can be filtered according to the manufacturer as well.
One has to check the technical specifications on the website of the manufacturer
Apple MacBooks and Microsoft Surface have their own systems.

Notebooks + Tablets > Notebook accessories > Docking stations
1. Docking station type Select Thunderbolt 3
2. Brands Please choose: about ten brands are listet but only three of them are clearly compatible with a notebook AND are NOTEBOOK MANUFACTURER as well; these are Dell, HP and Lenovo.
Thunderbolt 3 plus Brand Lenovo shows 2 products (accessed on 19-02-2019).
Check now the following specifications on Digitec website AND on MANUFACTURER’s website :
Compatible notebook models
Charging power
The combination Thunderbolt 3 plus Dell shows 3 products:
One of them is:
Dell Dockingstation TB16 240W (HDMI, DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort, VGA, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt 3, LAN/RJ45)
Compatible notebook models: «…XPS 15 9550 , XPS 15 9560. » without mentioning XPS 15 9570
Dell. The same holds for the website of Dell
But knowing that Dell introduced onto the market the notebook XPS 15 9570, a check on the manufacturer’s website now concerning the notbook itself shows that «Thunderbolt Dock TB16 mit 240-W-Netzadapter» is its corresponding docking station
->Technische Daten und Anpassung XPS 15
->Kabel, Dockingstationen und Schlösser: Dell Thunderbolt Dock TB16 mit 240-W-Netzadapter – Schweiz

«XPS 15» gives the useful hint.
Sometimes the special form of the connector is crucial :
see e. g. Dell
or it depends on the Operating system :

Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD (DisplayPort, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt 3, LAN/RJ45) for Apple!&f=dock&fh=4595%2B45e3

Now it’s your turn to check all the combinations «Dockingstation type» and «Brand» and «Notebook»
