Question about HP Z1 G9

I asked myself the same question. Unfortunately, the usual 12mm mounting rails don't fit in the housing. I then decided in favour of an NVMe M.2 SSD (Samsung SSD 990 Pro with heatsink). You don't need a PCIx adapter for this. The HP 8AC1 mainboard has a slot for a second NVMe M.2 SSD. The problem, however, is that the HP Z1 G9 does not come with a screw to attach a second NVMe M.2. If you want a fast drive, install an NVMe m.2 card with a PCIx adapter and you'll be 10x faster than with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
