It has a special property that was valued by the great Roman builders. They preferred to place their architectural masterpieces on a foundation of travertine. This stone, with its open pores, provides a high evaporation surface, naturally drying whatever is placed on it. Beautiful buildings as well as wonderful soaps. Excess moisture is absorbed, keeping the soap nice – perfect! Each stone is unique, featuring different colors, patterns, textures, pores, and edges. The surface of the tray is smoothly polished, while the underside is rough and porous. Four cork pads protect against scratches.
