Difficult to operate system / delivery issues

This was a very poor experience with Galaxus. Until recently it worked well but this time a big let down.
I agreed on delivery date, it was confirmed, was told to wait at home by the Post from 7 until 17:00 which we did.
But no delivery. No message that there is a delay. When I realized something was wrong I started chatting Galaxus support. They couldn’t do anything. The responsibility was with the post office. All they could do is give me the tel number of the Post. Who never answered despite waiting online for 30 minutes.
The package arrived on another day with any appointment made. Dropped in front of the door (40kg) no help provided.
Then the device is super heavy, no wheels (that is my fault for not spotting this)
I would never buy an air con without wheels
Then operating the device is a hit a miss
A real bad investment
Chat staff tried to help but I could see they had 0 control Over the situation
 

Pro

  • Cools down a 40 sqm room when you get it to work
  • Staff at chat support tried to help but couldn’t do much

Contra

  • Very poor responsiveness of the remote control
  • No app on i phone. Very user not friendly phone interface via internet browser
  • Delivery was delayed spent the whole day at home waiting for device came 3 days later
  • Once Galaxy’s gives your package to the shipping agent the responsibility stops
  • Delivered with EU plug, no adapter in the package
  • NO WHEELS and 40kg

    This review is NOT helpful. Your review sounds very entitled to exaggerate over a 24h delivery delay, which has nothing to do with the performance of the device (you're more than welcome to go give the Post 1 star on google), nor with the fact that you have yourself not taken the time to get informed about the device (Youtube?), nor look at the specs (weight and dimensions).

    Sad. Very sad. I really do not support any review, which is given in a poor way to somebody, who is not responsible at all.
    If a postal delivery is delayed, please review the deliverer.
    If there are no wheels, please look
    into a mirror and blame the one you see.
    If you are not able to operate the device: rtfm
    And please, stay fair!

    Diese Person scheint mit dem Gerät und der Lieferung einfach überfordert zu sein. Das gibt es natürlich, aber richtigerweise ist das Problem bei der Person zu suchen, die ohne sich zu informieren bestellt hat und villeicht noch beim Spediteur, der aber verständlicherweise in der aktuellen Zeit einfach zu viele Aufträge hat.
    Ich habe das Gerät kürzlich installiert, indem ich das Aussengerät für die Montage getrennt hatte und dann alles zusmmengefügt und... es funktoniert magisch! Allerdings hatte ich mich ca. einen halben Tag darüber informiert, welche Werkzeuge dazu notwendig sind und diese besorgt.

    I agree that the delivery of bulky items by the Swiss Post is awful!

    Digitec Galaxus should not use them for delivery of bulky items.

    They never deliver on time, there is no way to reach them for customer service, and
    they dump the delivery at the front door and run.

    I disagree that the review is unhelpful since delivery is required for the item and it is part of the purchase.

    Indeed. I didn't order this time atGalaxus/Digitec. I ordered it from another web site which had a much better price at the time of booking the order. They confirmed the delivery date by phone and it was delivered spot on. I also ordered the service to carry it to my 2nd floor and recycle my old Aircon. All did work out perfectly. However, it was a proper delivery firm, not the Swiss Post.
