High CADR value, quiet operation and simple design

What luck: this box cost just under 1K a year ago and now a third, why: probably because it has no WLAN and no plastic, which gives it a somewhat old-fashioned look. But wow, the third air purifier and the first that removes smoke from tipping, works efficiently with its two propellers even at low power and the design is so simple that the carbon filter can certainly be rebuilt, especially as these are quickly used up when someone smokes.

    Pro

    • CADR value over 900
    • Quiet and powerful
    • 2 propellers make a shouting noise
    • Wood and sheet steel
    • We produce in Europe

    Missing adapter

Relatively quiet and efficient smoke extractor. It is not exactly aesthetic but that is not what we ask. On the other hand, ordering in a Swiss store and receiving a device whose plug is not adapted in Switzerland, it's really a pity! An adapter would have been the least I could do...

Powerful and mostly well-made, but expensive

Powerful and will probably last a long time, but on first impressions not quite as perfect as you'd hope given the price tag. So here are some of the issues:

Mine had some visual defects, although nothing worth sending
it back for, specifically one of the metal grates is bent and some of the holes in the grating have metal shavings still attached. The sheet metal on the back side has some dark marks on it and doesn't look good.

The fans are powerful, but make an annoying buzzing noise on the lowest setting. And the 'filter status indicator' talked about in the manual just refers to taking out the filter and looking at how dirty it is - not exactly advanced technology.

Finally, you need to be careful pulling it out of the box when it arrives. The top section of the unit that you'd naturally grab on to isn't securely attached to the rest of it, so you risk damaging it.

But these are nitpicks and it's hard to find a prebuilt air purifier that's this powerful. On max setting this thing is slightly scary.
