Mobile air conditioner Wood's AC Venezia
First impression through!
Pro
- Devices very powerful (consumption 2kWh).
Contra
- Quite loud at full load.
- Supplied window seal unusable: Window slider cannot be pressed into sill.
- Even if he would let this (distance from hole to hole 18 mm, the window must remain open.
- Warm air flows right back in!
- M/choice with acrylic glass pane: watch?v=UuOd6Y-ezgM on youtube.
- Instruction manual very poor.
Does what it should
To lead the outlet hose to the outside we have cut a plexiglass disc with matching hole to the hose diameter. This works great and is recommended, as the supplied items are useless for our windows.
Pro
- Cools our room 30m2 / 120m3
- Batteries for the remote control were included :P
Contra
- Rather loud with monotone noise
- Supplied equipment does not fit in swiss windows
- Hose length with 1.5m a little short

- Very effective cooling in our 40m2 living room
- Connecting with the app via WiFi was a breeze
- Comes with a Swiss plug adapter, cool!!

Top cooling performance. Top control via app. However, also very loud (compressor).
The volume is ok, but on mine the plastic rattles somewhere inside, so that every time the compressor comes on, it makes a nasty plastic rattling noise, which is annoying.
The humming from the compressor is loud, but ok.
The plastic air outlet also rattles when it is set to "swing".
With the weaker Delonghi uv, nothing rattles at all.
Maybe something broke somewhere during transport?

Got a new appliance, nothing rattles anymore, but this one already had a scratch/varnish on the plastic).
But now at least there is only the monotonous compressor noise, which is much more pleasant than the rattling before.
Rating therefore now adjusted to 4 stars and rating/text updated.Pro

- Cools the office room down by several degrees really quickly
- Easy to control via app (no jerks, etc. runs really well)

- The air outlet at the top, when it "swings" it often rattles (was repaired with a new device)
- Plastic rattles somewhere inside when cooling (has been repaired with new appliance)
- Compressor is loud, but ok for the performance

Unfortunately, despite the higher price, it falls into the category of cheaper devices. Too bad

- Loud, especially the constant chirping noise of the capacitor is disturbing
Cool, but with loud clattering
The ventilation is quite pleasant, but the air conditioner compressor rattles very loudly.
We planned to run the unit in our office when there are no clients to pre-cool. But you can't concentrate with the clatter. Unfortunately, it doesn't get any better when you set the cooling power to 23°. The noise stays the same. We now only run the cooling when absolutely necessary, until someone has a headache :)
Our mistake was to assume that the volume specification refers to the fan, i.e. a rather loud noise. We could have dealt with that.
So to all: the noise source is the compressor, probably also with other air conditioners?
Apart from that, we have no complaints.
However, I would not buy the unit again for the above reason.Pro
