it could be designed better
Back straps are not wide/comfortable enough to take the load of 17inch laptop properly. After some time shoulders start to hurt
Not very durable with 17.3" notebook
First, the positive: the backpack has a lot of practical pockets and is therefore also quite practical to use first. It wears relatively well thanks to the 2 front straps, even with a heavy 17.3 "notebook.
Unfortunately, the joy does not last very long, because a 17.3 "notebook fits only with difficulty just so in the backpack. Thus, the notebook then rubs the upper corners of the fabric within a few months and the backpack leaks. So, even more leaky than it was in the beginning. Meanwhile, the top corners of mine are worn through.Pro

For me THE backpack for my mobile office! Hopefully it is still around when I want to buy my 4th one in three or four years!
I need this Targus backpack model almost every day, so it gets quite a bit of wear and tear, partly because I sometimes overload it.... With the recent purchase, I have already bought my third copy of this model within about 10 years. Why the new purchase: The sheathing of the straps is torn on both sides where you hold them with your hand each time you swing the backpack onto your shoulder. In addition, the now detached backpack after several years of intensive use also otherwise looks a bit "taken".

- Very practical backpack for carrying a laptop and accessories, writing materials and newspapers.
- Small outside pockets for all kinds of small items such as bike lamp, spare glasses, deck of cards, etc.
- Rain cover stowed in the bottom of the backpack - so always with you.

I bought this backpack because my ne...
I bought this backpack because my new business laptop didn't fit in my old backpack. I have to say I am absolutely thrilled with this product. My 16'' laptop fits in here without any problems and 18'' laptops should also fit in easily.
The laptop area is well padded, especially on the bottom. The laptop compartment also has enough space for larger power cables.
The front compartment has two pockets, one of which is for mobile phones. My 5'' smartphone fits in there without any problem.
The product workmanship makes a very solid impression!
One disadvantage is that the carrying handle often falls to the back when the backpack is put on and then comes to rest between the backpack and the wearer's back. The handle is then only slightly noticeable, but it is definitely not unpleasant over a longer period of time. I have now made it a habit to put the handle towards the front before putting the backpack on.
Conclusion:
Exactly what I was looking for. Definitely recommendablePro

Is planned as a replacement for my carrier bag....
Is planned as a replacement for my tote bag. Workmanship seems good. There is also plenty of space for accessories.
We'll see if the warranty is any good.
Addendum 3.10.2017: It really has kept its promise. Used it a lot and it's still great!
