The illustrations of the device are confusing. Sometimes with buttons, sometimes with two knobs.
I bought the device yesterday and it has two knobs. Above to set the time, below to set the power.
Integrated grill I do not need. Therefore, I find it good that the device is a pure microwave and the functionality is limited to the essentials, but this in good quality.
Did a test run, the performance is convincing.
Long-term experience I do not have, I evaluate here the first impression.

I preferred the Samsung MS23F301EAS/SW to the Rotel Mw 820c because I was not 100% convinced by the latter when I saw it in a department store. When I unpacked the Samsung MS23F301EAS/SW, I was initially a little negatively surprised by the design, which does not necessarily look "chrome" (the housing is not made of chrome steel either, but is sprayed grey) and therefore does not absolutely fit into my kitchen. It is more something for 60s/70s kitchens, with a touch of brown-champagne tones, more something for a traditional kitchen (and it was probably designed for American kitchens) than for a designer kitchen, even if it doesn't look like that in all the photos on the web.
But the appliance works flawlessly, is easy to use (only 2 rotary switches) I have since reconciled myself to the design and found a perfect place for it in my kitchen. The Samsung name is certainly also a guarantee of quality - or so I hope at the moment.

The Samsung microwave is super stylish and high quality. The display is blue, which also looks very nice. I ordered it mainly because of the beautiful design. The product was delivered the next day (super fast). I wanted a device that is easy to use and without annoying programmes. I prefer to have only one time and temperature control. This microwave has a large interior (even my large 29cm diameter plates fit). It is also fast and powerful. The only thing I don't like is that the inside of the microwave is black enamelled. So I can't see inside when it's on (despite the light) and I don't know if the food is already cooked or not. You always have to open the door to see how far it is. But that's not a problem because you can open and close the door again and again, and the programme continues by itself.

Basically:
This model has neither hot air, nor 20 cooking modes, nor a triple distribution (misleading info). You can only set the microwave power and the runtime, and that's a good thing, because 99% of the time you don't need anything else.
Appearance:
The housing colour is not silver as in the photos, but somewhat greenish. Of course, one could ask the question: If it is clear from the advertising photos in which colour the product is preferably to be presented, why is the device not manufactured in this colour right away? However, a lot of manufacturers would have to give a plausible answer to this question for a lot of products. Anyway, if someone wants to freely display this Samsung device, I recommend sampling it somewhere in the original. I have it in a cupboard where you can only see the front, and it's quite nice with the smooth black surface. The handle is made of plastic, but that's not really bad.
Features:
Worse is that the door squeaks, and it is difficult to open (and close). Moving the stove is unavoidable. The slippery metal feet are also partly to blame, which then leave unsightly marks on the storage surface. I had to use a thick anti-slip mat, which works well, but looks a bit funny. Moreover, it sounds kind of ridiculous that the buyer still has to "(p)fix" the product himself for it to work properly. The door opening could be a little higher (17 cm), so you have to be careful when placing a tall glass in the oven. The interior depth is perfectly adequate for this. The idea behind the weak interior lighting is a mystery to me, you can see practically nothing with it. The operation is again impeccable, set the power (if necessary), set the time with a turn and the oven starts in 2 seconds. It couldn't be simpler.
