Does what it should
I bought the product to clean cars thoroughly. I was not disappointed, the seats look like new again and no longer stink. The cleaner costs 29.- in Switzerland, in Germany only 9 euros. The assembly takes a while because the spray hose must be attached around the suction tube.

The handling is a disaster and the water nozzle sprays unevenly. The suction capacity is poor. The tangle of cables with the water hose and the suction pipe cost me the most trouble.

I think the Kärcher is great, and with the attachment it can also be used in the car!
Cumbersome, but does the job very well
It cleans very well and at the end of the day, that’s what matters. It’s too cumbersome to use on a daily basis, so if you have kids/pets and you need to clean small stains very often, I’d go for its smaller brother (Kärcher SE 3-18 Compact) as that one is very quick to assemble, use and clean.
However, for occasional deep cleaning of big surfaces (carpet, whole sofa), it’s very good, the results are outstanding.
A few backdraws:
- The clean water tank is shaped stupidly, it’s too tall and doesn’t fit into conventional sinks so you have to use funnel and a bowl to fill it, or do it in the shower.
- No dedicated waste water tank (the housing doubles as one), and cleaning it not convenient in general.
- The asssembly and disassembly is cumbersome, the parts get stuck and you always have to force them together/apart
- The electric cable is very long without housing, it just swings and gets tangled all the timePro
