Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI
Vacuum mopping robot
The "map" of the flat created by the robot is quite accurate. You can adjust it, define areas or set boundaries. However, you cannot save your own changes. And since the robot "loses" the map every few days, you can only fall back on the map it created before your own adjustments. Obstacle detection only works from a distance. If the obstacle is directly in front of the robot, e.g. a pet that just got in the way, it will only recognise it when it moves in. More problematic and another argument for not buying is the complete lack of a sensor for a full dust bin. The robot simply continues to vacuum until it has finished the room and only then empties itself. With a full container, however, it no longer vacuums anything and instead clogs the brush with hair and dust fluff. So what is the point of an extraction station if it only empties the container at the end? In addition, it only empties the dirt bin unreliably and often not at all, giving an incorrect error message instead. So let the robot do its job for weeks and have nothing to do with it? Dream on. Maybe the robot is only made for flats that are basically clean anyway and not for those with pets and really a lot of dirt and hair.
The app is pretty simply designed and is in desperate need of a makeover. But nothing happens. Besides, you have to find out for yourself how it works, because there are no instructions.
The wiping function is better than before, but still not really useful.
Conclusion: Once Ecovacs, never again Ecovacs!

The installation was completed in a few steps, then began the first cleaning and creation of the map. For my 100sqm apartment this took 50minutes.
The map was already very accurate and is further optimized with each cleaning. Obstacles he drives off partly carefully and partly he nudges them. e.g. the drinking bowl of my cats has spilled over. I have now drawn a line around it that worked well.
Suction power and accuracy in corners and around table legs is super for it! Despite a lot of hair and cat litter, the container is enough for more than one cleaning operation. The suction is then very loud for a few seconds, but so far works flawlessly. From the scrubbing function I am thrilled! I have no major dirt but many paw prints and water drops that are all gone after one pass :)
With the app I am also satisfied, that works so far flawlessly.
For the price including suction station (with me 534.-) a super thing :)

Had a Roborock s5 before. In comparison, the Deebot is really bad in navigation. There are places it skips, then it gets lost and sometimes it can't find the charging station. Updates done, AIVI on and off, factory settings etc all didn't help. Otherwise it would be a good machine with a good cleaning performance. Will switch back to Roborock though.
