Better picture quality, fewer reflections and AI support: this is what the televisions in Samsung's product line-up this year offer. Find out what other features the models have here.
We now have this year's TV line-up from Samsung in our range. There are currently two series in stock, with more being added gradually. In this article, I will briefly introduce you to «The Frame Pro» and the «QN90F» series.
Would you rather have a classic work of art or a Neo QLED TV hanging on your wall? With the TVs in the «Frame Pro» line, you don't have to choose. The 4K-capable device provides you with the features of modern televisions. If you want peace and quiet or receive demanding visitors, switch to «Art Mode», which turns your TV into a work of art.

You have the choice between 65, 75 and 85 inch screen diagonals.
In «Art Mode», the TV displays paintings and illustrations. Just like in an art gallery, the metal frame of the device and the white passe-partout draw the eye to the work. You can choose from the pre-installed works or use your own. According to the manufacturer, more than 2,500 paintings by famous masters are available to download from the Art Store - although Samsung charges a subscription fee for this.
The frame is interchangeable, so you can personalise the look of your TV. Wooden frames are also available. According to the manufacturer, the matte display suppresses reflections. A sensor on the underside of the device detects the ambient colours and room brightness and the TV adjusts the display accordingly, according to the manufacturer. The motion sensor ensures that the «Art Mode» switches off if no movement is detected in the room.
In TV mode, the device hides the passe-partout and utilises the entire screen. The refresh rate is 120 hertz, with up to 144 hertz possible. The TV supports HDR10+ and 4K upscaling using AI.
The Wireless One Connect Box included in the scope of delivery saves you tangled cables: you connect your devices such as speakers or games consoles to the box, which communicates wirelessly with the TV. According to the manufacturer, this works up to a distance of ten metres between the TV and box.
Buy a «The Frame Pro» TV before 31 July and get a soundbar for free. You can find all the information about the promotion here.
The devices in the «QN90F» series are equipped with an AI processor that enables improved 4K upscaling, for example. This should significantly improve the picture quality of lower resolution content when upscaling to 4K. The sound quality is also optimised using AI, Samsung promises.
Thanks to the «Glare Free» technology, there should be hardly any visible reflections on the screen, which is a particular advantage in brighter rooms. In addition, the TV can be synchronised with your Philips Hue lighting.
There are various screen sizes between 43 and 85 inches to choose from. Larger variants are not yet available.

When you connect your console and use your TV to play games, you can activate special gaming functions designed to improve your gaming experience. For example, you can display the frame rate (FPS) to keep an eye on performance, adjust the aspect ratio, display a virtual crosshair or zoom in on the mini-map. You can access this via the TV's game bar.
Both series use a Neo-QLED display. This is a development from Samsung that uses mini LEDs as backlighting for LCD screens. The resulting closer positioning of the LEDs ensures better contrasts and a higher picture quality compared to QLED displays. Samsung particularly emphasises a better picture in dark scenes.
The displays are Pantone-validated. This means that they have faithful colour reproduction. The Dolby Atmos sound equipment is designed to provide «multidimensional surround sound».
Both series also share support for «Samsung Vision AI», the artificial intelligence for Samsung's screens. This should enable sharper images, better colours and clearer sound. If you use a Samsung Galaxy Watch, you can control the TV using gestures. The voice assistant can display the content you want to see on the screen.
