Processor and other inner workings

The processor, an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, is specially designed for use in gaming laptops. Eight performance and 16 efficiency cores are designed to deliver high performance quickly. The integrated NPU provides the AI functions with which, according to the manufacturer, the notebook adapts its performance depending on the activity and saves energy in everyday use.

With «Gimate», Gigabyte's own AI is also integrated. If you press the corresponding button, you can give the AI commands by voice and switch the laptop to gaming mode, for example.

32 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM and 2000 gigabytes of SSD storage are also installed. According to Gigabyte, the 99 Wh battery can be charged to 50 per cent in 30 minutes.

OLED display and Dolby Atmos sound

The 16-inch OLED display has a refresh rate of 240 hertz. It has a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and offers a maximum brightness of up to 500 nits. According to the manufacturer, it covers 100 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour space. This colour space is around 25 per cent larger than sRGB and was developed for digital cinema projection. In practice, this means more vivid and natural colours and a better display of HDR content. Precise colour reproduction is also important for image processing.

The housing contains four speakers for Dolby Atmos sound. On the back, the laptop projects the Aorus logo onto the table. Additional RGB lighting is integrated into the back of the screen and as strips in the frame on the front of the laptop. The keyboard has a backlight.

Connections

The laptop offers the following connections:

  • Ethernet LAN
  • HDMI 2.1
  • 2x USB 3 (type A)
  • Thunderbolt 5 (type C)
  • Thunderbolt 4 (type C)
  • Jack connector
  • Micro SD card reader

For wireless connectivity, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are included.
