Now available: ProDesk mini computers from HP for business use

Compact computers are suitable as workstations in normal offices, in industry or at cramped terminals.
The «ProDesk» series from HP are small desktop computers aimed at businesses. They are suitable for working environments with limited space, for example in industry and administration. However, they can also be used in normal offices.
The «ProDesk 4» models are equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors that have an NPU, i.e. an AI chip. This enables the devices to perform AI calculations more efficiently and thus reduce the load on the processor. The computers thus benefit from energy-optimised processes and an improved image.
Optionally, you can use the HP Wolf Security system on these devices. The system gives you the option of remote management and advanced security functions.
Tower models: larger housing for more options
The tower models are slightly larger with dimensions of around 34 × 31 × 16 centimetres (W × D × H). This means better accessibility for extensions and more interfaces.
According to HP, they are well suited for performance-intensive desktop applications, such as data analyses and presentation creation in small and medium-sized companies. We have the tower models in our range as «ProDesk 4» and «ProDesk 2» variants. With both, you can choose from versions with 16 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of SSD memory or 32 gigabytes of RAM and 1000 gigabytes of SSD memory.
The «ProDesk 4» computers have four slots available for RAM. Depending on the model, one (16 gigabytes) or two (32 gigabytes) of these are already occupied.
The following connections are distributed on the front and rear of the housing:
- 1 USB Type-C
- 8 USB Type-A
- 1 HDMI 2.1
- 1 DisplayPort 2.1
- 1 Ethernet
- 1 headphone/microphone combo socket
Wirelessly, the computer uses Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
With the «ProDesk 2» devices, you have the choice between an Intel or AMD processor. These are modern mid-range CPUs without an NPU. HP specifies simple office applications in schools, training rooms and companies with rollout projects as the intended use. There is one less USB-A port than the «ProDesk 4».
SFF model: compact but expandable
SFF stands for Small Form Factor. The housing measures around 30 × 30 × 10 centimetres (W × D × H). According to HP, this model represents a good compromise between compact size and good expandability. It is intended for use at traditional workstations in small companies with IT-managed departments, such as law firms.
The device comes with 16 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of SSD storage space. The connectivity options are the same as the tower model.
