Dell's "Pro" series includes mini PCs, slim desktops and notebooks. They share comparable features, but differ in size, housing shape and area of application.

Whether in the home office, in a company or simply in a private setting: systems that work reliably, take up little space and provide sufficient performance for everyday applications are in demand. Dell bundles several models with standardised memory equipment, the latest Intel processors and different form factors under the name «Pro». I present a selection of six products here.

«Pro Micro»: small systems with room to manoeuvre

The «Pro Micro» series comprises small systems for workstations with limited space. Two versions are available under the name «Pro Micro QCM1250»: one with Intel Core i5-14500T and 16 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM and 512 gigabytes of SSD, the other with Intel Core Ultra 5 235T with identical memory equipment. The difference lies in the architecture: the Ultra processors have integrated AI accelerators (NPU) that can perform certain tasks such as AI-supported image and speech processing locally and efficiently.

The range is complemented by the «Pro Micro Plus QBM1250». This model utilises the Intel Core Ultra 5 235 including NPU and offers additional connection options compared to the standard micro devices - such as USB-C with up to 20 Gbit/s data rate and display port.

«Pro Slim»: slim desktop with more flexibility

The «Pro Slim QCS1250» is designed as a slim desktop. It is compact, but offers you extended connection and upgrade options compared to the «Pro Micro» devices. Among other things, connections such as HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gigabit Ethernet are available. The housing features PCIe slots for expansion cards as well as M.2 and SATA connections for additional drives. It is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 5 235, 16 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM and a 512 GB SSD.

The portfolio also includes two notebooks. The «Pro 16 PC16250» has a 16-inch display, an Intel Core Ultra 5 235U, 32 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM and a 512 GB SSD.

The smaller «Pro 14 Plus PB14250» offers a 14-inch display in 16:10 format and uses the Intel Core Ultra 5 238V with integrated Intel Arc Graphics. Here too, 32 GB LPDDR5x RAM and a 512 GB SSD are installed. Both models are available in versions with Swiss keyboard layout (CH layout).
