The Aorus Elite 16 is a mobile gaming machine in the mid-range price segment. The dedicated RTX 5070 graphics card and the second-generation Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU with AI computing core promise performance reserves for gaming.

After the Aorus Master 16 you can now get the significantly cheaper - and somewhat slimmed-down - Aorus Elite 16 gaming laptop from Gigabyte.

Display, graphics and computing power

The device has a 16-inch IPS display with a refresh rate of 165 hertz. The 16:10 format screen has a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. According to the manufacturer, it covers 100 per cent of the sRGB colour space. Pantone validation and Dolby Vision guarantee a high level of colour fidelity.

The Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070 provides the graphics performance for gaming, while the processor, an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, has an NPU for AI calculations on board. Among other things, the AI ensures performance optimisation and better energy management.

The CPU with 24 cores, including eight performance cores, is designed for gaming and computing-intensive creative applications. The laptop comes with 32 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM (2 × 16 gigabytes) and can be upgraded to up to 64 gigabytes. The SSD memory offers two terabytes of space for your games and data.

Integrated peripherals and connections

The keyboard has configurable RGB backlighting. The Aorus Elite 16 is also ready for video calls with its integrated full HD camera, microphone and two two-watt speakers. The speakers support surround sound with Dolby Atmos.

Two USB-A ports, two USB-C Thunderbolt ports with Power Delivery, an HDMI port, a jack and an Ethernet port ensure connectivity. A MicroSD card reader is also integrated. You can connect the laptop wirelessly via Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

The battery has a capacity of 99 Wh and, according to Gigabyte, can be charged to 50 per cent in 30 minutes. The housing of the laptop, which weighs around 2.3 kilograms, is made of anthracite-coloured aluminium.
