For several weeks now, it has no longer been possible for you (and other retailers such as Brack and CeDe, as well as SBB) to make online payments on the computer using a Postfinance card. You receive an error message that this transaction is not accepted, with the telephone number of Postfinance, where you should get help. Postfinance, however, says it has nothing to do with it, it cannot even see that a payment attempt has been made with the card. It is up to the merchant to solve this problem. My card works perfectly when I make "live" purchases at vending machines or in shops. Wouldn't it be time to solve this problem as well? This could be because Postfinance Cards are now debit cards and no longer Postcards, so you would have to enter different codes, such as the top code on the back of the card and not the bottom 8 digits of the card number and the front, as previously required.

Digitec/Galaxus and MediaMarkt do not cover the manufacturer's warranty. The reason for this is understandable. Therefore, always check the product's warranty. Digitec sometimes shortens the manufacturer's guarantee. For example, PC power supplies usually have a 10-year warranty, but Digitec only grants a 2-year warranty or simply shortens it, which is not correct. In my opinion, Digitec/Galaxus should check the manufacturer's guarantees again, as not all of them are covered by the manufacturer's guarantee, which is disadvantageous for the customer.
