    real fur???

I have already destroyed a fortune with you - always with a good feeling... But I find it outrageous that you sell real fur and hope that this practice will soon come to an end. Do you really need to sell products for which living creatures have lost their lives?

Migros is a co-signatory of the Fur Free Alliance and accordingly prohibits the use of real fur in all its products.

Hello Galaxus Team As a 'Migros subsidiary' you should be a role model. https://generation-m.migros.ch/de... Real fur Migros is a co-signatory of the Fur Free Alliance and accordingly prohibits the use of real fur in all its products. Exceptions are sheepskins and lambskins of international origin and rabbit skins from Switzerland, provided that the animals were not kept exclusively for fur production. Other "subsidiary companies" can already claim this: The fashion house Globus has decided to refrain from selling real fur in the future. In the current season, articles that are still available are still being sold. But from the next autumn season, the Migros subsidiary will be fur-free. "With this decision, Globus is distancing itself from the fur business and is committed to ethical principles and animal-friendly fashion," Globus CEO Thomas Herbert was quoted as saying in a media release from the Zurich animal protection organisation. Source: https://www.nzz.ch/zuerich... I think it is a pity that Galaxus has not yet followed the example of Migros and still offers clothes with real fur, e.g. from Canada Goose.

    Sad fashion

Real fur from "Canada Goose" is from the cruelest trap catch! This extremely cruel trapping method is ethically absolutely unacceptable. The Canadian manufacturer proudly points out that it only uses fur from Canadian wild animals. But in contrast to the Swiss red fox, which is hunted with a rifle, coyotes on the American continent are hunted with traps. A practice that has long been banned in the EU. The animals fight for their lives for hours. To free themselves, they even try to bite off limbs before dying of exhaustion or from their injuries. Up to 50% of the captured animals belong to an unwanted species (birds, small mammals, sometimes even pets!) and are disposed of as "waste". The population of coyotes and foxes would regulate itself if we humans did not interfere.

Animals die in agony for these jackets!

Before buying such a jacket, please find out where the fur on the hood comes from. The coyote that ends up as fur on your jacket was caught with traps. Sometimes the animals remain severely injured in such traps for several days. You can read about how painful this is here: http://www.peta.de/Fallenfang and http://www.pelzinfo.ch/pelztiere... You can find more information about the fur industry here: http://www.ardmediathek.de/tv... Before buying one of these jackets, please consider whether an animal really has to die in agony for you just to end up as an "accessory", even though there are numerous alternatives to real fur.
