We may all remember: some time ago, Planzer came into play and caused a lot of displeasure. Deliveries suddenly stopped working, parcels went missing, etc... The list is endless.
As a result, many of us, including myself, have indicated in our accounts that we would only like to be delivered by Swiss Post if this is possible. This was because we were used to a mostly smooth process with Swiss Post.
Until last year, things worked pretty well with the post office.
"Funnily enough", I can no longer say the same since 1 January 2025.
Today was the second time that a promised Saturday delivery for two orders was botched by Swiss Post and will therefore not be delivered until next week. According to the post office: Incorrectly forwarded. Thanks for nothing. Now I see delivery date unknown.
A week earlier, a similar spectacle: an order from Thursday should have arrived on Friday, suddenly it also said "delivery date unknown" and lo and behold, of course the parcel didn't arrive on Friday. Not even on Saturday...
My question at this point, do other users also observe this? Because, since 01.01.25 I can say that in my case the orders are 100% NOT working. 2 orders and both of them were delayed. It is clear that mistakes can happen, but there seems to be a tendency here, at least for me.
It would be interesting to know whether others are also affected by this phenomenon, or whether it is once again the famous "isolated case".
