Hello everyone, I have come across a motherboard specification that I do not understand. It concerns the point "Memory chip"; for current ones, it usually says "DDR5-5200, DDR5-5600" or "DDR5-SDRAM". --> SDRAM is the memory type, but what does DDR5-5600 mean then? That looks more like the "supported speed" to me. But for every motherboard, the supported speed was also always displayed separately. I have found this specification on at least 5 different motherboards. I hope someone can clear up my confusion. Thanks in advance.

Good day, ladies and gentlemen. I am currently looking for an MSI MPG Z790 Edge WiFi DDR4, but I literally cannot find one at a reasonable price – neither functional nor within Switzerland. Does anyone have such a model or an MSI MPG Z690 EDGE TI WIFI DDR4 that works? Please let me know.

Has anyone had experience with an AM4 motherboard that you can buy at digitec and a Ryzen 7 2xxx processor working together..? It seems there are no AM4 motherboards in the shop that support such a processor (almost all motherboards supposedly only support Ryzen processor types 3xxx and higher...), or is that an incorrect specification from the motherboard manufacturers..?

Dear Digitec, the primary reason why I have shopped with you again and again was your good master data management. As a customer, I could compare products and weigh up their pros and cons without fear or worry. However, it seems to me that the data quality is getting worse and worse. My latest example is AM5 motherboards, 80% of the motherboards categorised as X670 actually have an X470E chip. This letter may seem trivial to some, but this means a doubling of the transfer rate of the PCI-E interfaces (PCI-E 4 vs PCI-E 5) which is important information especially for gamers. Not to mention the projectors and their resolutions and brightness ;-) How about doing a back to the roots programme again and checking / correcting your product specifications.

Hello everyone. Wanted to ask which DDR5 ram kits are you using? Which ones are running pretty stable? What chipset temperatures do you have? When my chipset temperature reaches 80 degrees (in summer up to 85 degrees) with 3 SSD's installed, the keyboard goes crazy or slightly delayed in gaming. Do you also have very high chipset temperatures? I measured 80 degrees and ASUS told me to send the board back if there is no improvement. However, I am convinced that the RAM is causing the problem. When I switch on D.O.C.P and I have to use a lot of keys while gaming, the keyboard goes completely crazy. Since I know that the chipset controls the hardware information and the 80 degrees, it could also be due to this. But I'm not sure if that's the case. Could it be that XMP(D.O.C.P) is not suitable for AMD? Because mine are 5600 mt/s 2x16 GB plugged into the right slot and I use the 9800x3D as CPU. The specifications also state that 5600 mt/s is supported. I have also read in the Asus forums that some Asus boards have problems with the chipset temperatures. Some have everything fully equipped and very low temperatures while another has only 3 out of 5 installed and had reached over 90 degrees. Do you only have to install an M.2 SSD to bring the chipset temperatures to stable values or is this a production error?

Digitec recently listed the ASUS PRO WS W880-ACE SE at a rather dubious price. (2859.- as of 19.05.25). Will the mainboards from Gigabyte, Supermicro and Asrock also be included in the range? Hi everyone, I'm putting together a new PC (mine's nearly 8 years old!), and I'm not sure which motherboard to choose. There's a lot to choose from and I must admit I'm at a loss. Here's what I need: Main use: AutoCAD, a bit of 3D modelling, and fast file transfers to external drives. I do the occasional game, but that's not my priority. Quick start-up. I have a Corsair 780T white case, white as a bonus. - Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X (AM5). - Budget: Approximately 250 CHF - 300 CHF (or a little more). - Fast data transfer - Good connectivity: built-in Wi-Fi, several M.2 slots for fast SSDs, etc. - Scalability: I know the term 'future-proof' is often misused, but I want to be safe for potential upgrades in 5 years' time. Hello everyone, I have the following problem. Since today, my PC has had the problem that it can no longer connect to the network. In addition, all lights (GPU, fan, PSU) go out after approx. 1 minute and the ports on the back light up red. However, the PC can still be operated and USB continues to work. Early PCI4 mainboards had problems with efficiency and heat, more modern ones less so.

Hello, I have flashed the BIOS on the Asus Crosshair VI Hero X379 , Ryzen 1700X from 6802 to 7002.When updating the screen was suddenly black after loading,after waiting for some time I restarted the computer and now nothing happens. On the back I have once the BIOS reset button, there is also nothing happens, think if BIOS is broken normal and once the BIOS flashback button, there he also does not start with the BIOS flash.In the description is a USB stick with BIOS version and pc start, but he does not read the BIOS even after repeated pressing the flashback button. Sali Zämä I am looking for a desktop mainboard. It should: be able to do -10gig ethernet -support 16 gig ddr4 RAM have -2 to 3 pci-e connectors (1 Davon x16) -Socket doesn't matter. Advantage: (LGA 775, LGA 1366, LGA 1156, LGA 1155, LGA 2011, LGA 1150, LGA 2011-v3), I have the cooler for it. -Crossfire/Sli doesn't have to be able to do it, I only have a GK -Of course it has to be newer (good bus speed etc.) I know, I could also filter and research it myself. But it doesn't have the "10gig network" filter yet... so I would have to look through hundreds of boards. Maybe one of you has already bought such a 10gig board? Greetings, Luky
