Revolights

Based in the Bay Area of Northern California, the start-up Revolights Inc. was launched in September 2011 as a successful kickstart project. Today the company employs a small team of developers around the two founders Kent Frankovich and Adam Pettler. The purpose of the company is to improve bicycle safety by developing innovative lighting systems.

After a series of prototypes, the first Revolights bicycle lights for serial production via crowdfunding generated 215,000 US dollars - one of the best-funded projects of 2011 - and subsequently won the Core77 Design Award 2012 for Transportation and the Men's Journal Gear of the Year 2013 in the USA.
