Very solid choice

I got this to use as a home router + vpn server + ad block. It has enough CPU + memory to do all of that and still have some to spare.

I specifically like the 2x ethernet ports because it allows me to put two networks on it. One for my internal home devices and one as egress with some static routes configured.

    Is it loud under heavy load? and how quiet is it under normal load?

    Habe kein Vergleich, aber mit Windows 11 war er im Normalbetrieb beim surfen definitiv nicht zu hören. Ich benutze ihn momentan als Plex Server unter Linux, der Lüfter ist hier ständig in Betrieb (bei wenig CPU sowie unter Volllast).

    I want to use it as a server to run scripts an possibly a Jellyfin for some movies that are not available on streaming platforms.
    How much can you hear yours with plex?

    Es ist schwierig einzuschätzen wie Laut er ist, da ich keine Referenz habe.
    Unter Linux ist der Lüfter aus 5m Entfernung zu hören, würde schätzen zu 50%.
    Es ist nicht möglich den Lüfter zu steuern unter Linux oder im BIOS..leider.
    Temperatur     der CPU bei 3 Streams 4k Transcodierung auf 720p ca. 55°C

    Ich muss korrigieren, nachdem ich jetz Governor auf performance gestellt habe ist der Mini-pc nun wieder flüsterleise im Normalzustand.
    Top Gerät ..ich bin zufrieden.
