Not bad... while it lasted.
I bought this in 2020 for my new laptop, which didn't have an HDMI port.
It also allowed me to connect my laptop directly to my UPC router, to get full internet speed.
One issue I noticed... I owned a 500Gb Samsung USB-C external drive. Plugging this directly into my laptop worked fine. Plugging it into the Verbatim port.... nothing showed up. So I couldn't use them both. I tried this on an Acer laptop and a brand new HP laptop, and both had this problem. So, I can't actually use my USB-C external drive via this Verbatim dongle. Damn it.

It's now 2024, and this is basically going in the bin. Sometimes, the RJ45 doesn't recognise that there's internet (it's connected directly to my Sunrise router) and often, the HDMI display flickers, twitches every 2-3 seconds, and is basically unusable. I've just ordered a Satechi replacement.

- Needed to be thrown away after 4 years
