Does the job (well)

Got this one during a sale(399.-) and for this prize the G5 feels like quite the bargain.

A decent UltraWide experience paired with a high refresh rate/freesync. Sure it's not perfect and has notable downsides but the positives outweight the negatives here and if you get the chance during a sale you should take it. 

Pro

  • Freesync works great even with my RTX
  • The curve grows quickly on you
  • Came with a 8k DP cable
  • Response time keeps its promise

Contra

  • Colors are quite limited
  • Lacks a dynamic stand/neck
  • Getting some ghosting from time to time
