Lightera InvisiLight
Hi Digitec / Galaxus I have been trying to get _this product_ without success: https://lightera.com/p... I would be very happy if this could be ordered from Galaxus. Why exactly this? Because: - "Normal single-mode fibre", 9/125 µm (suitable for 10 Gbit/s - probably also for 25 Gbit/s, maybe 100 Gbit/s? ...) - Only 0.6mm diameter - Bending radius: 5mm (according to G.657.B3; manufacturer promises even tighter bending radius of 2.5mm). - For gluing along the wall/ceiling with water-soluble adhesive (/no hot glue) - Can be painted over Could this possibly be included in the range? Together with Adhesive and Dispensing Tool, ... (see: https://datasheet.lightera.com/versao_et_... ) Saw the product for the first time at @apalrdsadventures: https://www.youtube.com/watch // Why now? The topic is topical for me right now. I have a WLAN wireless bridge at home with 2x Ruckus R770 ... and I'm not super happy with it. It's quite good, transports my VLANs, but latency increases and bandwidth ... more than 1Gig is not really possible, MLO implementation is still a long time coming and the whole thing eats up a lot of power. And I'm practically permanently blocking the neighbours' radio spectrum when backup is running over it. Solution: glass ... but I can't manage WAF (wife approval factor) with the products I've used so far. Another similar product that is also currently pushing onto the market: In c't 2026.07 (Glasfaser-Internet: Klebeglasfaser) broader topic - presented were Huawei's proprietary self-adhesive "FTTR" with active components from Huawei - also already in the Galaxus range, iFTTR F50 Plus OptiXstar (I'm not interested) and a more generic variant with 0.9mm fibres and hot glue gun (I'm slightly interested).
