They advertise full service with installation. It is a dishonest claim. The issue with the appliance not ready for Swiss market is common. They should state explicitely that the service includes only 'plugging it into the socket' if device is ready out-of-box. Instead, they choose to blame the customer. Very sad practice!

Hello, I just realized there was a community forum on Digitec/Galaxus! Cool! I moved into a new apartment and need to furnish it with large kitchen appliances (fridge, stove/hob, dishwasher and laundry machine). All of them have an option of adding extended warranty up to 5 years. I wanted to know if anyone has had to use their warranty offered by Digitec/Galaxus to service any of their appliances (onsite or pickup/return to service center) and if it was a good or bad overall or things to consider or aware of. I am interested in buying a Bosch GSN33VWEP or Siemens GS36NAWEP freezer, I recently found out from my neighbours that a product ordered in Switzerland had a German power connection and the manufacturer only included an adapter for the transition. I am happy to pay more for a "Swiss" product, but I saw in the order process that a "technician" can be called out to carry out the initial installation for an additional charge of around CHF 90. How can I recognise this in advance or do I have to ask each time?

Good day together I have ordered a balcony power plant from Autosolar (800 W). I have done a bit of research regarding registration with our electricity supplier, etc. I have read that in Switzerland you are only allowed to feed a maximum of 600 W into the grid with a balcony power plant. Hello all, I have Segway-Ninebot MAX G2 D, warranty till 22.7.2026. These scooters do not have great sealing of front wheel bearing, I had to RMA one before 1000km - front wheel lot of noise, I got a new one, having again 1000km+ and eventually when you ride through some dirt (I am trying to avoid it most of the time), the front wheel/bearing starts to make noise, dirt gets in. You can still ride, but.. I still have warranty, but this is more "product wear", can Galaxus provide some service? Is there some Segway scooter service in Zurich? I would pay 50-100 CHF to some service, where they would clean up the scooter, replace front wheel bearing. I will need it probably every 1000km. Otherwise the scooter is great. I probably do not want to RMA this every few months. Please let me know your thoughts or if you solved that somehow? I don't want to mess with it at home, the assembly of front wheel is quite annoying. Thanks

Good day to all For all those who are looking for someone in the Lucerne region to do repairs and tyre changes on Xiaomi e-scooters: I had a flat tire on my rear wheel (Pro2) and contacted him. I quickly got an answer as to which tyres I wanted (standard 50.- or CST V3 60.-). I decided on the CST because they are supposedly better and the rear tyre broke twice in a very short time. "Good, will be 60.- incl. new tube and mounting, you can come by the day after tomorrow evening". I went to him, dropped off the scooter and went for a short walk, and after half an hour I was done. Paid the 60.- and left satisfied and good =) I can only recommend, tyre change was done quickly and above all cheaply! 60 francs is top. When I had my tyres changed before, I had to pay 105 francs for a new tyre (standard) and inner tube! I thought I'd let you know because I had a great experience and I think he's happy for a bit of publicity. And I get a bit upset when someone pays 100 Stutz for a tyre change!
