I have the following problem: 👉🏻 I need to print on thick paper (200 g) in A6 and A5 formats. Fortunately, I have found a printer that supports both formats and can also handle 200 g paper: the Epson ET-5850. However, the problem is: The printer can only feed thick paper via the page feeder, and I can only load a maximum of three sheets there. If I load more, the printer cannot feed the paper correctly and then reports a paper jam. The feeding problems are even worse via the printer cassette. Apart from that, I'm happy with the printer, but unfortunately I have to add paper after every third sheet, which costs me a lot of time. I assume that large printers for offices or libraries can deal with something like this better - but is there a model similar in size to the Epson ET-5850 that can do this? Thanks for any tips! 🙏🏻

Hello, after inserting a black "Hermex Toner compatible for Canon i-SENSYS LBP633Cdw" cartridge, the printer detected and reported a counterfeit, then was able to print a few colour pages BUT with a strange grey shaded band at the bottom of the page, AND now REFUSES to print anything by displaying the message reporting the counterfeit.on, then was able to print a few pages in colour BUT with a strange greyscale banner at the bottom of the page, AND now REFUSES to print anything by displaying the message indicating the counterfeit. Is there any way to use compatible toner with this printer, and if not, why are these cartridges sold here? Thanks in advance :)

A very simple question. Let's see who can help me here. :) I would like to buy a printer with a built-in scanner. I would like to connect the device via WLAN. My WLAN was updated at the beginning of the year and has been working with WPA3 encryption ever since. WPA2 no longer exists in my network. Brand doesn't matter. I would like a 3 to 5-year manufacturer's warranty. (Wish!) MUST: WPA3 support

Which printer is up to date in terms of WLAN security and can do WPA3? I have to replace my perfectly functioning HP printer because it only supports the old (obsolete) WPA and my new router no longer offers it due to lack of security. To save myself the next hassle, I'm looking for a printer that can not only do the more-or-less secure WPA2, but also WPA3.

How can I filter printers according to the manufacturer's warranty period? Reason why I want to do this: A manufacturer that "normally" gives a 5-year warranty seems to be more convinced of its product than the competition, which only gives a 24-month warranty. For the phones, see Fairphone vs competitor. With the Fairphone, I received a 5-year warranty with no ifs and buts. In the meantime, however, it is already 5 years old. I would like to have the same experience with the printer ;) I can filter for many things, but not for the warranty period. This should be easy to implement. If other filtering is also possible, isn't it?

I had an HP printer that was about 6 years old and unfortunately it stopped working. With this printer I was able to save the scans directly to a network drive (via SMB). However, the newer HP printers no longer seem to support this according to the specification. Is this generally the case, or are there still HP printers that allow scanning to a network drive via the display? Thanks for your help!

Hello I am looking for an HP printer that can also copy and scan, but that can also be set up with an additional 550-sheet paper tray. Is such a printer available and which paper tray would be compatible?

I have a multifunction printer HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdw, and it keeps printing thin black stripes about 2cm long on the right edge (after about one revolution of the platen)...has anyone had the same problem and been able to fix it? Thank you very much for your suggestions!

This device is not supplied with instructions in German. The operation of the device is also not available in German. I would be interested to know whether the device can be operated with the Control Centre 4 for the scanner.

On several models with colour tanks (new and used printers) the designations are incorrect. It incorrectly says colour cartridge, although the image clearly shows the ink tanks. This makes the search much more difficult if you have set the appropriate filters.

It would be very practical if Galaxus offered the "Operating system compatibility" filter. I would also like to see more detailed information than just "Windows" in the product details.

Hello, we are looking for a laser printer with a native resolution of at least 1200x1200dpi for printing, ideally also for scanning. Nothing that has an interpolated resolution with corresponding software. Which devices fulfil this requirement?

Is there a (rather cheap) multifunction printer with an A3 flatbed scanner? Does anyone have experience with it?

Hello, I'm looking for a printer to print mainly folders of about a hundred pages each (mainly in black/white with little colour). So something fairly fast. I'd like it not to take up too much space and to be able to scan/copy as well. Thanks for your feedback :-)

I'm looking for a printer for my home office. Unfortunately, we have to scan a lot and on both sides. We would therefore need a multifunction printer. It would be important for it to be able to scan several pages automatically on both sides without manual intervention. We also print in colour every week and rarely copy. We have everything mac, so full AirPrint support is a must. Below are the requirements: - Price up to max. 300 - Automatic duplex printing - Automatic duplex scan - MacOS compatibility - inkjet - good photo printing - no plans or software constraints I am very grateful for any tips.

I am looking for a printer to print my own PVC cards in credit card format (CR80 54 x 86 mm). I could also choose a card printer (Evolis, Magicard, Datacard etc.). In the past, however, there were also additional trays for inkjet printers to print PVC cards or CDs. Do they still exist? I really want to print the PVC cards borderless - which is not always possible with the special card printers (as direct thermal printing on the card). Are such trays still available for the current Canon printers?

Hello everyone I'm looking for a good ink tank printer as a complete package for my home. The choice is now between the two models: Epson ET-4850 and the Canon Maxify GX6050 https://www.digitec.ch/de... Does anyone have any experience or preferences regarding one of the models? Thank you very much for your feedback. Greetings Dominic

Hey, I have an HP ENVY Photo 6200 Series printer and I just hate it so much! It causes so many problems, can't connect to the internet or my PC. I always have to go back to the printer to scan, press scan and then back to the PC and otherwise it's just annoying as hell! Now my question is has anyone had good experiences with a printer that is really reliable and never or maybe 99% error free without always having to get upset about it? Just needs to be able to print, scan and copy and not be too big and too expensive!

Hello everyone We would like to build our own photo box for our wedding. We are now looking for a printer that can print a 10x15cm borderless photo on photo paper in 20-30 seconds at a high quality setting. Unfortunately, none of the manufacturers provide any clear information on this. For comparison: A test print with an Epson ET-2810 took over 2 minutes. Manufacturer's specification: 69sec Now we are unsure about the printer. There are several variants: Thermal printers: https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/canon-selphy-cp1500-thermodirekt-farbe-drucker-21469280?ip=selphy + cheap + print immediately solid - slow (41s/image) - expensive consumables laser printer: + can be reused afterwards, as a new printer will soon be needed + favourable purchase if you consider use afterwards + print immediately + fast - expensive toner - large device ink tank: + can be reused afterwards, as a new printer will soon be needed + favourable purchase if use afterwards is taken into account +- neither fast nor slow - print not immediately dry - large device - favourable consumables Can someone with laser or (preferably Epson) ink tank device also make test prints borderless 10x15 so that I can possibly find a suitable candidate? New price of the printer should be max. ~350CHF. Thanks and regards Raphael

I'm looking for a solution to be able to print over the internet. A setup without a running PC if possible. A NAS or special router would be OK. Open for almost any printer brand. Thanks for any tips. (Used to use google cloud print...).

Hello all We are looking for a new colour printer that can also scan. We use it relatively seldom, which is why we had the problem that the ink dried up. The result was that we had to replace the cartridges for hours and finally the whole printer was defective. As far as I know, there are inkjet printers that have the nozzles on the cartridge and not in the printer. Would that solve our problem? Budget - as low as possible. We print really infrequently, but will be printing a bit more in the future as our wedding is coming up. Thanks for the tips!

Although I have set the printer to 'Rotate on Long Edge' and have entered the same value in the Windows Control Panel and in Word, the documents are generally rotated on the short edge so that the text on the back is upside down. I have also contacted Brother Support, but their response is lousy. Can anyone help me?
