Intuitively, one would expect the Canon IS series of binoculars (with active image stabilisation like most still cameras today). But with the filter, 86 results get mixed up and I don't see the common denominator. It would be nice to have a filter for real IS.

Do binoculars fall into the category "hygiene articles" and are excluded from return within 30 days? Or is a return possible, depending on the condition of course with a deduction?

What do the experts recommend for my situation? 1. beginners do not have binoculars yet 2 . Budget max. 180.- 3. nature/landscape/animals 4. zoom important 5. spectacle wearer We are visiting the "Serengeti of the USA", i.e. Yellowstone National Park. And I want to be able to see animals from a great distance. Therefore question: 1. Is 10x enough? I think it is rather close? 2. do I necessarily need a tripod from 20x or can I still observe animals for a few minutes with props? I have put together a small selection. I am grateful for any tips from experts! https://www.galaxus.ch/de...

I would like to give binoculars to my son who is a keen hiker, motorcyclist and nature lover... I'm thinking of a compact model, of very good quality. Thank you for your advice.

Dear Community I am looking for a pair of binoculars but have no experience with them. After reading the guide and looking at the products, I am a bit overwhelmed with the choice and hope you can help me. I'm looking for a pair of binoculars that I can take with me on my hikes to observe animals and otherwise explore the landscape. Therefore, a light weight would be great, but it's not a must. I would also rather use them during the day. I also wear contact lenses if relevant. My asking price is up to 200.-, but I am not angry if it is less. I've had a look at the Steiner Safari Ultrasharp, but I'm not sure if it's any good (and yes, I've read the reviews). Maybe there is someone out there who would like to share their good/bad experiences with me and help me out ;). What specifically do I need to look out for? I am aware that I can enter anything in the filters. And yet, it doesn't make the selection any smaller.... Help! Thanks in advance and best regards
