Several shortcomings; go with Omron X7 smart which is way better
I wanted a slightly more portable BP measurement machine, since I already use the Omron X7 smart regularly. In my opinion this machine has several shortcomings which precludes its use as a regular measurement device. For a similar price the Omron provides a lot of beneficial features. The hose is so short, that it gets pulled out frequently. Omron has a lock so this does not happen. The device measures BP while inflating, which leads to consistently higher readings. 2 User support is a good feature, but smartphone connectivity is missing. The LCD is not angled properly and one needs to rotate the device to view it properly. The device randomly stops inflating and throws an error, no idea why. The cuffs are not ergonomic, but basic plastic inflators. I will not recommend this device for older people because of the LCD viewing angle and short hose.
