If you have a worn ot trackpoint cover on a modern ThinkPad, don't hesitate a second longer
The original trackpoint cover on my X1 carbon, 5th gen was running out of steam (somehow, it was extremely stiff). The replacement made a world of difference. Very easy to replace.
