Specifications for Asus NUC 15 Pro

I would like to order an Asus NUC 15 Pro with the Intel Core Ultra 7 265H processor with vPro (slim version). The range lists 23 models of the Asus NUC 15 Pro, but the specifications for around half of them are extremely meagre. It is not clear from the specifications which processors the NUCs have installed. For the other half, the Intel Core Ultra 225H or 255H processor is specified in the product title for the majority, but in some cases with considerable price differences although the same processor is apparently installed. Based on the official data sheet from Asus (https://www.asus.com/Websites...), I was also unable to determine which product models are listed in the digitec range.

    Number of Ethernet for filter

Hello, I am looking for a barebone with at least two Ethernet ports. It would be great if the number of Ethernet ports could be entered in the filters in the future!

Which Intel NUC for Homelab? ~12 VMs (Windows Server)

Hi everyone For testing purposes and learning/preparing for Microsoft certifications, I am looking for a suitable Homelab device. In this respect, the Intel NUCs seem to make sense to me. Only which one? I will probably need about 10 VMs, with probably one or two more to come. Which NUC would you recommend and why? I currently have the following favourites: - Intel NUCPAHIi7 (CPU Intel Core i7-1165G7) - Intel NUC 9 Extreme Kit (Intel Core i7-9750H) - Intel Frost Canyon NUC10i7FNKN (Intel Core i7-10710U) The respective device is to be equipped with 64GB RAM (2x32GB) and at least 1TB SSD. Which ones are not yet defined. Recommendations are also welcome here. The VMs are only intended for testing purposes. So without productive or "heavy" load. Which one would you recommend and why? The total price should not exceed CHF +/- 1,000. LG

    Low power consumption

Hello I am looking for a barbone that hardly consumes any power! It should run 24h! It doesn't have to be fast but only run 1-2 scripts! Which one is the best choice for me?

    4K TV media player

I find the technical data provided for the products insufficient. And the filter criteria do not allow for a helpful selection. My project: The TV is an LG 49sk8500. I want to display my photos in all their glory, 4K, wide colour gamut, 10bit colour depth. Some of the photos also need to be upscaled from 2K to 4K. The HDMI connection on the (old) laptop can only handle 2K. The pictures look quite good as it is. But I would like to have the ultimate quality. That's why I'd like to get the HiMedia Q10 Pro, but I doubt I'll be able to solve the colour management with it. I would have to be able to install a calibration system (BasiCColor or X-Rite), and the OS and player would have to support CM. Or are there ready-configured solutions? Does anyone know anything about this? Can you perhaps give me a tip?

    4K/UHD television with barebone?

I am looking for a small computer to watch 4K/UHD films with HDR on the TV. What do I need to consider? Netflix is not yet available, but could be in the future. What do I have to pay attention to? Which graphics card and which processor are suitable? I'm not very good at these things myself.

External USB memory in continuous operation

Hi together Is there anything wrong with using a NUC as a NAS and storing the data on one or more USB disks? The problem is that especially the cheaper NUCs only have one internal port. The lifetime of the USB disks is certainly not quite optimised for this, but with a good backup you can probably ignore this single (?) disadvantage, can't you?

    Replacement for ASRock Vision HT

Hello all What would you recommend as a replacement for my ASRock Vision HT (http://www.asrock.com/nettop... I appreciate the size (200x70x200mm), the DVD drive, the many ports (at least 4xUSB in the back, 2 in the front), slot for SD cards in the front and the performance. But now it seems that the end has come... Thanks for your help

Self-made "mini-PC" vs. barebone / Intel NUC (Plex Media Server)

Greetings My Synology NAS (DS412+) goes crazy when transcoding videos via Plex Media Server and begs for mercy. I need separate HW to solve the problem. I was thinking of putting parts of my current PC into a cheap HTPC case and upgrading the PC halfway. Components that I would recycle from the current PC: - AMD FX-6300 - AsRock 970 Pro R2.0 - 2 of 4 RAM bars à 4GB - 120GB SSD and a 550W power supply currently thrown in the corner. (+ new CPU cooler from Digitec) I would "upgrade" the current PC with an AMD FX-8350 and the newer ArschRockt 970 Extreme. Now of course the question is: What is more worthwhile in terms of cost (incl. power consumption)? (My budget is not insanely huge - range CHF 300 +/-). Or rather: What makes more sense? (subjective opinions also welcome)

Intel NUC Skylake for video editing

Good evening Is the Intel i5 NUC Skylake powerful enough for video editing in 4K e.g. with Adobe Premiere? If not, what would you recommend as a compact PC for video editing? Kind regards

Sales launch digitec: Intel NUC Skylake

Good evening In the meantime, the i3 Skylake NUC is already available in the USA. I would like to find out whether digitec knows when the various new NUCs (i3, i5, i7) will be available. According to various sources on the web, at least the i5 should be available in January 2016. I can hardly wait to order the thing ;) Thank you very much for an answer.
