Codefree Blu Ray/DVD Player
I have looked through the forum but unfortunately have not found a clear answer. Does Galaxis have a BluRay/DVD player that can play codefree DVDs (i.e. DVDs from North America and Europe)?

Hello folks. If anyone has their Oppo 203/205 to offer, I would be happy to be contacted. I also offer good money for it. Many greetings!

I tested the LG BP250 and Sony BDPS 1700 and was really disappointed, all the way through you can hear the blu-ray spinning, even vibrating. It reminds me of the difference for audio CDs between my Yamaha (where you can hear absolutely nothing), even if you stick your ear on the player, and my radio player where I can also hear the CD spinning all the time. Hence my question, which blu-ray players should I buy to have total silence? I'm not interested in apps, internet, I just want a player to play my blu-ray, and a totally silent player (the latter being 50cm away from me), so with a big soundproofing shield. If a hi-fi system like my Yamaha can play my CDs in total silence, I think there must be blu-ray players that are also totally silent, right?

Hello all I own an Epson TW650 beamer and would now like to watch a film in my garden - a power connection is available. Can I connect a DVD/Bluray player directly to the projector? If so, which model would you recommend? Do I need additional speakers for the sound? I would be very grateful for a competent answer. Elisa

Do you sell a Blu-Ray player model for zones AB and C?

Hello all Have been trying to play downloaded movies on these devices for a fortnight. Purchased DVDs, family films on DVD, photos etc. work. Films saved on USB or DVD in various formats work perfectly on TV or laptop, but unfortunately only play the sound on the Durabase. What else can I do, does anyone have a solution?

Hello all This might be a stupid question, but I have been searching for a long time without success. A Bluray player is to be connected to an Epson EH-TW610 in order to play films in a more or less mobile way (e.g. in warehouses or classrooms). For the sound, a mobile speaker with Line In (e.g. Marshall Speakers Acton BT II) is desired. However, there is no BluRay player with Cinch or Line Out. Is there some kind of adapter that makes it easy to connect a speaker?

Good morning I am looking for a small bluray player that is about the size of an external drive but has an HDMI output so I can connect it to the TV.

Hello, the portable DVD players here all have mediocre ratings. Why is that? Does anyone know of a good device? Price doesn't matter. BD support would be great but doesn't seem to exist. Greetings and thanks

Hello all I'm looking for a small BluRay player that I can hang on the back of the TV (so it works vertically). Samsung had one on offer, but unfortunately nothing current anymore. Is it really no longer available? Thanks Sopur

Hello dear community I am looking for an affordable Blu-Ray player OR an optical Blu-Ray drive on which I can play DVDs with different region codes. I have some new DVDs with region codes 1 and 3 and don't want to tinker with my PS4 which I have been using to watch movies. Copying or re-burning everything is actually too tedious for me, although it's certainly easier. Budget: 150.-Fr I'll take whichever is easier to get around this lock, even if I'd prefer an optical drive in terms of price and space. I am curious about your suggestions.

I am looking for a DVD player that can play both zone 1 and zone 2 DVD's. If it can also play zone 2 blu-ray, that would be great. Thanks for the info.

Sali Zämme I am looking for a good 4k UHD Blu-ray player that also has a USB 3.0 port so that I can also play 4k content downloaded via my hard disk. I would be happy if someone could help me.

Why are the Pioneer Blu ray Players BDP-180 and BDP-x300 not on sale? Are these models being discontinued or are there supply bottlenecks?

Hello everyone, we have an older TV (lg-42lv3400) but would like to receive Netflix via it. Since we are not so happy about the costs of Swisscom, we are looking for alternatives to Swisscom TV. Now we are thinking about buying a Blueray player or a Chromecast stick. Does that make sense in our case and what should we look out for when buying a Blueray player? Or should we just look out for a new internet-enabled TV? Thanks for your opinions on this.

Hello all I am looking for a player that can also play audio CDs and works without a remote control. In other words, track forward/backward via hardware button. Is there anything that can also play DVDs or BlueRay?

Dear Community For customers with a somewhat smaller wallet, I would like to recommend the Xbox One S for watching 4K Blu-Rays. Time and again, there are promotions where the Xbox is offered for about CHF 150, because Microsoft may need space for the new Xbox One X. I noticed a disadvantage in the operation. Since I didn't buy a media remote control, I have to operate the player with the classic Xbox controller. Another disadvantage is the volume of the fans on the console while playing a 4K film. However, I got used to it after the first few minutes. Nevertheless, I am thrilled with the price-performance ratio. The images are clear and smooth. HDR goes without a hitch. Since the Blu-Ray app comes from the Microsoft Store, it is constantly fed with updates to improve the performance and compatibility of newer discs. And: game console included.

Since my DVD/VHS recorder (Funai) has given up the ghost (just doesn't turn on anymore or only for 2-3 sec. and goes off again immediately) after only 4 years, I am now looking for a very simple DVD player. Since I have never dealt with Blu-ray's, I did not know that you can also watch DVD's on Blu-ray players. So now I'm looking for something like this, because maybe I'll buy a Blu-ray some time :-) It should be very simple, I don't want to record, save or anything else, but it should have a display. I've already seen that there are many that don't have one. Since it should be something simple, it shouldn't cost more than 100. Can anyone recommend one to me? We have a Grundig TV, if that matters. If I buy such a player, are all the cables already there or do I need something in addition? Many thanks for your help :-)

Hello - I bought a small Samsung BD-J4500R but was not able to get the hack to work. Anyone know where I can get a multi-region player - my entire collection is Region 1 (US) Thanks!

Do you have any Zone Free Blu Ray players

Hello together Is there a UHD BluRay player that can play movies with Dolby Atmos soundtrack via DLNA?

Maybe a stupid question, do you need a special Blue Ray player to enjoy 4K or is a normal Blue Ray player enough?

Hi Will you also include the LG 4K UHD Player UP970 in your programme? It's a pretty cheap player. But what sets it apart from the others is that, apart from the Oppo, it's the only player so far that will also support Dolby Vision (after a yet to be released update). Greetings

Dear Digitec Team, The categories with which you can filter the Blueray players are no longer really up to date. How about a category for network properties? DLAN, Mircast.... Or categories for the new picture and sound standards that came with 4K and are not yet uniform, such as Dolby Atmos (sound), Dolby Vision, HDR-10... Greetings
