Awesome interface. I'd recommend to a friend.

I'm using the 2i4 to connect the guitar to DAC and also as a quick, no frills guitar amp/effect system with Guitar Rig. Everything works very well, the fit and finish is top-notch.

You can also consider this also a "portable" interface. It gets its power from the USB port, this means you don't need a power adapter when going out and about. Let's say you want to record a podcast, you can take your mics, this interface, headphones and a computer and you're all set.

The only contra I can think of is that the interface uses a USB-B (like a printer) port for in/out. You'll have to get a USB-B to C cable in the future. mehr
