The numbers are very big and therefore visible from a distance. The clock also has three brightness settings, but unfortunately even the lowest setting is still fairly bright, so if you are light-sensitive, this may not be for you.
Others have noted that the LEDs are not all of equal brightness, which means slight variations among the dots that make up the numbers, but this is minor and quickly becomes unnoticed.

- Clear numbers, visible from a distance
- Very nice looking, clean display
- Mains powered, but includes a battery to keep clock running if there is a power cut

- Lowest brightness setting is still rather bright
