Almost perfect. Still recommended.
Nice case. Could a bit better tho, like adding some more shaped foam to secure the top of the drive. But this can be cut / added later too. I was also expecting a bit softer material of the foam. The one in this carry case is a bit too stiff for my taste.
Pro
- Good quality.
- Set of antistatic bags included.
- Fits plenty of drives (6 3.5 inch plus 3 2.5 inch drives).
- Perfect and comfortable (for carrying) overall size.
- Aluminium profiles on all edges and closing part making it rigid and sturdy.
- Metal corners for added strength, drop resistance and hiding profile cuts.
- Nice metal latches (locks) and hinges.
Contra
- It would be nice if there would be also top foam to secure drives when closing.
- Aluminium sheets on sides are a bit thin!
- Can't stack two of them, as the handle is protruding at the top, and there are no feet at the bottom
- Rubber feat would also help stabilize it a bit on flat surface. It can slide too easily otherwise.
