Buy another brand until Gigabyte has fixed CPU fan speed control and software issues.
Gigagyte Softwares are a complete mess, SIV (Sytem Information Viewer) does not work, Smart Fan does not work (only from the BIOS).
(2021 Update : SIV & Smart Fan now operate as intended).
Ryzen 7 (3700X) fan Control is a disaster, the fan keeps reving up and down even when you are doing nothing. Many user complaints on the web and Gigagyte has not fixed this and let's remember that this motherboard is specifically made for Ryzen 7 series. (MSI users for example do not have this issue).

- Easy to Bios Flash the bios (but manufacturer iènstructions not clear)
Contra
- Gigagyte Softwares do not work (Smart Fan / SIV (Sytem Information Viewer, and others)
- CPU fan control is a mess, fan keeps reving up and down, you need to adjust the Fan curve yourself)
I just saw your comment after writing my own - I can absolutely agree. Please avoid this mainboard or other Gigabyte mainboards until they fix their software issues. The windows applications are an absolute mess and seem to be 10 years behind the competitors. Smart Fan / Fan Control is a joke,
